The total block grant amount allocated to the states depends on what Congress includes in its budget, and given the fiscal environment, it is uncertain at this point. However, here are the amounts the Governor proposed for this block grant for the coming fiscal year—
Local program expenditures
- Substance Abuse Services-Adult: $14,258,540
- Substance Abuse Treatment Alternatives for Women: $6,050,300
- Substance Abuse Services—HIV and IV Drug: $5,959,934
- Substance Abuse Prevention—Child: $4,940,500
