It is our great pleasure to welcome Hillary Belk as our new Western Region RSS Coordinator! In the past eight and a half years, Hillary has demonstrated her commitment to the prevention and recovery continuum. In 2011, she began working at UNCC where she implemented the first collegiate recovery community (CRC) in North Carolina, making her the first graduate in the state from one of these programs. Hillary has over three years of experience in recovery coaching and supervising in sober living spaces, including two years of on-site live-in managing. In 2019, she started Hillary Belk Recovery Support Services, a coaching and consulting company. She is currently working with Safe Project as a mentor for their Leadership Academy, a program that works with current CRC students. While doing this, Hillary also is obtaining a certification as a life coach through the Life Purpose Institute. Through her work, Hillary has represented her passion for working with the community and advocating for reducing the stigma of addiction by helping to carry the recovery message and implement programs, education, and awareness. We are so grateful to have someone as dedicated and hard-working as Hillary on our team!
